WHAT IS CANINE SCENTWORK?
Canine Scentwork is a sport where the dog uses its nose to locate a target scent or odor in a given area. Developed in the United States in 2006 by scent detection handlers for working dogs, this sport is patterned after scent detection training. In all levels of a scentwork trial there are four search elements (container, interior, exterior and vehicle) to simulate the typical environments encountered in scent detection work.
The sport of canine scentwork is governed and sanctioned in the Philippines by the Philippine Association of Canine Scentwork (PACSW).

CAN MY DOG DO SCENTWORK?
Yes... Absolutely!
Scentwork is a great activity for both dog and owner. ANY type of dog (regardless of age, sex, breed, personality, or physical limitations) CAN DO this sport because it taps into a dog's natural ability to use it's nose and hunt.
